Hardscape & Patios
Hardscape is the part of the yard you stand on, and it is the part that fails first when it is built wrong. We install paver and concrete patios, walkways, driveways, steps, seat walls, and retaining walls across Humboldt and Del Norte Counties. Base prep and compaction are where a patio is won or lost on this coast, so that is where we spend the time. Engineered walls over four feet, permeable pavers, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens are all in scope.

Landscape Installation
This is the build. Full tear-out of whatever is there now, then grading, soil work, planting, beds, edging, and rock or bark to finish. We install sod, hydroseed, and seed new lawns, build retaining walls and hardscape, run irrigation, and finish with mulch, bark, or decorative rock.

Drainage & Irrigation
On the North Coast the water has to go somewhere, and if the yard was not graded for it, it goes toward the house. We install French drains, channel drains, catch basins, dry wells, downspout lines, and culverts, and we regrade yards that pond every January. On the supply side we install and repair sprinkler and drip systems, controllers, valves, and backflow, and we do winterization and spring startup.

Decks, Pergolas & Structures
The structures that make a yard usable in Humboldt weather. We build wood and composite decks with railing, pergolas, gazebos, arbors and trellises, built-in-place planter boxes, chicken coops and runs, and we assemble shed kits. New builds only: we do not take on deck repair, reboard, or refinishing work, so if that is what you need we will point you to someone who does it well.

Land Clearing & Earthwork
The heavy end of the work. Brush clearing, blackberry and invasive removal, defensible space and fire clearance, full property cleanouts, and land clearing for a building pad. We run mini excavator, skid steer, and tractor or brush hog, and we handle trenching, post hole and auger drilling, site grading, compaction and base prep, stump grinding and removal, and small structure demolition. Junk and debris go out on our trucks.

The one-off builds that do not fit a category. Artificial turf, including pet-safe turf and putting greens. Dog runs and pet areas. Playground surfacing. Deer deterrent planting and garden netting.
