Over a decade in Humboldt & Del Norte, one new name.

Humboldt knows us as Your Local Mow Man, the region's largest locally owned landscaping and fencing company. Years of maintenance routes taught us whose fence leans after the first storm and whose patio ponds every January. Deep Roots exists because we started building them the way we wished they had been built.

The Mow Man side keeps your property sharp week to week. Deep Roots handles the permanent work: landscape design and installs, and fences from backyard privacy to public works. Same owner, same crews, same standard, one more shovel in the dirt.

Communication, dependability, and no surprises.

Communication

We understand that clear and open communication is essential to your satisfaction. Our team keeps you informed and updated at every step of the process, from the first walk-through to the last day on site. We answer, every time, and you get a heads-up the day before we arrive. You can count on us to be there for you.

Dependability

When you choose Deep Roots, you can be confident your project will be completed on time and within budget. Residential work is usually booked two to four weeks out, and we tell you that up front rather than promising Monday and showing up in March. We are known for consistently delivering on our promises.

Professionalism

Our team of experts is friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled in every aspect of landscaping, hardscape, and fencing. New crew members complete a five-week training program before they run work on their own. We maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and we leave every site cleaner than we found it.

Transparency

You see the design before anything is built and a real number before anyone digs. The 50% deposit covers materials, not a holding fee, and change orders are priced in writing. If a job is not the right fit for us, we say so and point you to someone who does it well.

03 Who you'll meet

Owner-run, start to finish.

Geronimo Zuniga, the owner, walks every commercial and public-works project personally. Residential estimates run through Elijah, our salesperson, who can be at your property any day of the week. And the office answers the phone, because that is the whole point of having one.

Crews run two to four people, in uniform, with the training to work on everything from a backyard fence line to a commercial site. You will always know who is on your property and what they are there to do.
